Engineering Next-Gen Wi-Fi: Zilogic’s Insights from prpl summit and Network X 2026
Zilogic Systems proudly participated in the Global prpl Summit and Network X Expo 2026, held in Vienna, Austria. Gathering Technology leaders, ODMs, silicon vendors, OEMs and major service providers, these prestigious global events focused on advancing the future of wireless embedded solutions and open-source connectivity ecosystems.
Showcasing Adaptive Wi-Fi at the Global prpl Summit
At the Global prpl Summit, Zilogic Systems showcased its Wi-Fi engineering capabilities through a demonstration focused on maintaining Quality of Experience (QoE) under challenging network conditions. The demonstration of Mesh optimization addressed the impact of elevated noise levels, interference, and varying traffic loads across radio bands.
Edge AI-based algorithms support the decision-making process by identifying the principal contributors to performance degradation and determining the corrective actions required. The demonstration also shows how these decisions drive control-plane reconfiguration within the Linux stack. This premier event for carrier-grade open-source technology, provided the platform to demonstrate our innovation: specifically the adaptive wi-fi proof-of-concept using machine learning techniques.
We also engaged with key members of the prpl community to exchange insights and explore areas of strategic collaboration. These discussions complemented our work on test automation frameworks and prplMesh implementation for high-performance Wi-Fi networking.
Furthermore, we had discussions on testing the low-level API’s, and the Zaero - test automation framework, that we have built for the same. Our team engaged with global technology partners and industry experts to exchange insights on next-generation CPEs, home gateways, and connected devices, aligning with Zilogic’s vision of enabling smarter, more reliable connectivity solutions.
Highlighting Wireless and Connectivity Expertise at Network X
Following the summit, Zilogic Systems participated in the Network X Expo, highlighting its end-to-end engineering services across wireless and connectivity technologies. Our focus was on RDK-B, prpl, and OpenWrt-based gateway solutions, demonstrating our expertise in embedded software development, platform integration, and testing.
The event also opened doors for meaningful conversations with gateway ODMs and carrier middleware teams exploring engineering partnerships. These discussions reflect the growing demand for specialized embedded expertise in next-generation broadband and Wi-Fi deployments.
The expo’s emphasis on the evolution of Wi-Fi networks and services reinforced the importance of our investment in open-source platforms. Participation in both events strengthened Zilogic Systems’ global visibility, created opportunities for collaboration, and highlighted our role as an engineering partner for next-generation wireless solutions.
